Real Crash - by Howard

Hedge funds are gambling, while production is crashing. The real estate bubble is over, and going down. New York City is beautiful, that's why I take pictures of it, but it's the belly of the beast.

The Happening- between McCain and Obama?

The Supremes- the Happening- the Debate
The Supremes- the Happening- the Debate

(heads up to Mr Len the DJ Man)

It was great, it was a debate;
But, the situation's a bit late;
With AIG, Merrill, Lehman all down;
McCain woke up, and Obama just woke up-
To the Happening;

How 'bout credit;
for Production;
And some tariff protection right now;
Don't wait till the dollar is toilet paper;
Our credit, yes, the national credit, could turn to vapor;

(the Supremes, spoof song, the Happening)

It seems from preliminary reports of the debate, that Obama went overboard for his "alternative energy" package, including total waste of time big projects in Wind (subsidizing TBoone Pickens' Texas project) and solar power. McCain at least mentioned nuclear power, which is good. Wind power doesn't even work in Denmark, one of the windiest countries in the world. They still have to maintain all their coal plants for the days where the wind dies down.

McCain also said something at least referring to the millions of defaulted mortgages. I really don't care if he wants to say the Democrats let it happen, because now, it has to be frozen, and we have to keep people in their homes. Also noticed, that with the economic collapse ongoing, the whole appeal of an "adventure" in Iran or Pakistan, for either candidate, has also collapsed.

Overall, I think that McCain won the debate, in not showing himself as a complete British/Oligarch agent, the way that Obama is. If you want some decent policies, and to save the USA, better listen to the geezer.

great picture of the Supremes... yes, it's funny how talk about Iran withered away with all this economic strife...

Yes, the war thing could come back, but you can see the virtual reality of it all, as a diversion.
