Saving the USA from Speculation and Ingnorance
Real Crash- Looking at the Financial System and the War Drive:
The biggest problem dealing with the idiocy of a Prof. Walter Williams, or the overpaid, fat loudmouth, Rush Limbaugh, is the ignorance of history and economics. Because of hysteria in the United States, such as the witch-hunt known as "McCarthyism", but that could also be known as "Trumanism," little of US economic history is known to the public. The books have largely been burnt, or obscured. Then a British agent, like George Soros, can play a few games through moveon.org and buy up the Democratic Party, or use similar operations on McCain, for example around the McCain-Feingold bill, creating the "527s" or billionaire political clubs.
For example, who knows of Henry C. Carey, an important economic adviser of Pres. Lincoln and the early Republican party, and his views AGAINST free trade and so-called free enterprise?
Of note is this website:
Really Long Link
with Henry Carey's biography, in part:
Carey became one of the most prominent supporters of the new Republican Party, as it struggled into existence, then national dominance, in the last half of the 1850s. As Gabor Boritt, in Lincoln and the Economics of the American Dream notes, "The dismal science' of the Europeans, laden with Malthus and Ricardo, was not acceptable to an optimistic young nation. Not many economists and no politicians could preach industrialization in the United States and also accept, for example, an iron law of wages that doomed labor forever to a bare subsistence. The Americans, and few more so than Henry Carey, made political economy the beautiful science.'" Further securing Carey's prominence was the financial Panic of 1857, which was widely ascribed to the passing of the "free trade" tariff law a few months before. As the Dictionary of American Biography notes, "The American [protectionist] tariff of 1861 commenced a reaction against unrestricted commerce in which Carey's apostleship and authority were internationally recognized.... He was the leader of the only group that can be said to constitute an American school of political economy..."
Unfortunately, since the British authored crimes of McCarthyism and Trumanism and others before and since, this faction in American history is said to have never existed. Hopefully, Mr. Obama or Mr. McCain, or some last minute replacement for either, will rapidly look at larouchepac.com and other sources, as the financial system otherwise collapses, so we can save this nation and civilization.

The Political Brief
Here's another view on the early economy and where it led us. It sounds to me like we were doing really well until the government started interferring.

And yes, Aaron Burr was a traitor, not just a bad guy.
