With the Democratic convention not a 100-done deal, the possibility of Al Gore infiltration should not be ruled.
On the Georgia Gambit, it is interesting that the Daily Telegraph had a bit of an apology for the British Foreign offices cheering on of Mikhail Saakashvili in his little invasion, hoping to bluff the Russians. We in "the West" should remember that there are 25 million Russian citizens, outside the borders of Russia, but in the near abroad of Russia. The internal republics of the former Soviet Union were not on purely ethnic lines. That is why 11 million Russians live in, for example, Ukraine. Hope people realize this is not a cut and dry issue.
