Joy at the Collapse of the Dollar
Yes, I understand why there is a certain joy in the collapse of the U.S. Dollar. I can even endorse it myself under some conditions. After all the dollar is the symbol of the oppression of the masses, the poor the little guy who doesn't have it.
The dollar is the symbol of the death of all good ideologies. Everything from protectionism to nationalism to brotherhood to socialism has been thrown down the dollar for the all mighty buck. There's only one little problem, if the dollar goes, everything else is going down that pretty little flushing toilet spiral. So be careful with that Schadenfreude.
Looking on the Internet (check the link, dummy), this is not exactly a new feeling, but now it is really coming on. What is really behind this desperate grab to have Mergers and Acquisitions, to privatize infrastructure. In Australia, you have MacQuaire buying up Quantas Airlines, and infrastructure, but it is going on in Chicago Illinois, USA too, usually even by the same people.
It comes out in (link, link) twisted forms, but it is definitely there. But we are not going to stop the Iraq/Iran/Imight war and the sins of capitalism by just saying screw the banks!
So ignore all the (link, link) stupid chatter. If you look at my spotlight posts, my preferences on these matters are well known.
