This season we in NY seem to be producing a number of real winners for President. First we have Michael Bloomberg trying to "go green". Now, Guiliani is recruiting some "interesting" advisors, in his bid for President.
Bloomberg scheme is to tax any of us in the outer boroughs who dare to drive into lower Manhattan and to the financial Wall St. priesthood, in the name of Mother Earth, aka Gaia. So the man is trying to get the Green party endorsement so he can run for President. After all, you have to get on the ballot some way, and straight petitioning as an Independent can be rough, even if you have a $1 billion to spend.
Then there is good ole boy Guili-- The word from Phil Giraldi, from www.antiwar.com is that New York's Ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani has hired on neo-conservative founder, Leo Strauss acolyte, and all-around fascist ideologue, Norman Podhoretz as a top foreign policy advisor. In a recent Commentary magazine piece, Norman reminds us that war against Iran is imperative under the doctrine that ``Islamo-fascism'' is the greatest enemy facing mankind today. Serious experts on theology, politics and foreign policy ridicule the neo-con invention of the "Islamo-facist" label as meaningless drivel.
Other of Guili's claims to fame are his disgraced former NYC Police Chief, Bernie Kerik, and his previous marriage to the narrator of "The Vagina Monologues."
