Global warming is the latest pretext for a new fascist looting scheme against New York, and none other than Al Gore and Felix Rohatyn, the Lehman Brothers financier infamous for his role in the 1973 fascist Pinochet coup in Chile, have teamed up to push it through.
On Earth Day, New York billionaire Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced a
plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in his city by 30% by the year 2030,
by taxing New Yorkers and visitors to the city $8 for any weekday driving
in most of Manhattan. The mayor proposes the tax revenue thus gouged out
would fund a $30 billion regional transit financing authority.
Al Gore endorsed the plan, calling it gutsy, on April 26, but it was
Rohatyn who spilled the beans on its real purpose, in a {Financial Times}
commentary April 27. According to Rohatyn, Bloomberg’s regional financing
authority is a new, green version of the Municipal Assistance Corporation (Big MAC)
which he personally headed in the 1970s. Heading the Big MAC, Rohatyn ensured
bondholders got paid when the city went bankrupt in 1975, by increasing
sales taxes and savaging New York City basic public services
(education, health, garbage, fire, etc.) The city has yet to recover. (See EIR:

This new scheme is yet another proof that Lyndon LaRouche was right,
when he warned Democrats that the party will not survive, until it kicks out

Anyway, by setting up a carbon futures and trading market, over everything, including the right to breathe (and exhale CO2), certain British empire circles like Prince Charles and Al Gore, intend to create a bigger financial bubble than the real estate market.
Of course the Iraq, or potential Iran war is a very bad precedent, for general, endless wars and bombings. Countries could be bombed for so-called environmental reasons. What if someone wanted to seize Brazil's Amazon region for example on globalist pretexts? I don't necessarily approve with people profiting off of global climate change, it isn't nice, but it doesn't make the facts any less true.
You're just saying 'since Al Gore is making a couple of bucks out of it global warming is a lie', the only scientists that seem to agree global warming isn't real are either trying to get people to see the fuller picture, that is the whole earth is undregoing a huge climate change, not just necessarily warming , these people are often ridiculed by conservative types, then comes those other scientists who work for any number of companies that will lose profit (such as oil companies) if people start being environmentally cautious.

"Global Warming" is a pub.rel. trick to get so-called liberals to act like worse than neo-cons and Nazis. The idea is not to "solve" environmental problems, the idea is to reduce the population, by any means, including those disgusting...(as Lord Bertrand Russell said repeatedly) including lying.

So you claim millions will die if they turn ethanol into fuel? You know the US is the largest exporter of corn in the world? You know odds are corn demands are going to increase exponentially if it turns into a viable usage for fuel?
Though thats not the point, I don't think theres going to be a single miracle energy source thats going to replace oil, but so long as were on the line of thought of millions of people who might die, did you know many medicines are made from crude oil?
Lets go back to the aforementioned, you do realize global warming is drowning countries? The Solomon islands in 50 years may well be under the ocean? If you're going to blame this on natural events then you should also know natural events are not spontaneous and something like oceans rising is not something that will happen naturally over a period of 200 years (about the time we started getting really messy with the environment) it's something that will happen over a period of 1000 years.
You can nit pick little details but studies have shown there is a direct corelation between us polluting the environment and the environment acting unfavourably upon us, no doubt if we do continue looking for crude oil (which is running out on its own) millions will die as a direct result of the rising cost of medicine, which believe it or not will happen once oil rigs start sputtering and spewing.

I'm not a political extremist, I don't jump on bandwagons, I don't tie myself down to one issue or the other, I, unlike you, look beyond petty political rivalry, if the issue is global climate change I don't ask such and such politician what he thinks, much less you, I know the science behind it.
Just like how folks try to argue evolution, same thing, global climate change isn't real because of such and such nit picky issue, OR it isn't an issue to worry about because god promised never to flood the earth again OR it isn't an issue because the rapture will come soon enough leaving behind all the evil liberals to drown in gods ocean or something or another.

There are dozens of reputable scientists who don't buy into Gores crock of crap. Plenty of articles have been written already, naming them. Some of those who jumped on his bandwagon to start with are jumping off... those who want to retain some shred of their credibility.
My motives have nothing to do with politics, Ahmed. It's a matter of education and common sense. One of my college courses was geology and I did some extensive research into the geologic record. From rock formations to ice cores, to dendrochronology, the proof is already there that the Earth has minor temperature changes over many millenium. The proof is also there that carbon levels have been much higher in the past (long before mankind had anything to do with anything.)
Ahmed, I suggest you learn something (besides spin) on a subject before running your face. It makes you look very foolish and accomplishes nothing else.

The idea of say, lowering your "carbon footprint"by say 50%, is that the industrial activity of the nation is planned to decrease by 50%. This is on top of globalization destroying jobs everywhere already. On top of a debt ridden financial bubble ready to crash, ie. sub-prime Real Estate mortgages, LBOs, hedge funds, etc.
Then in addition, poor Third World nations will be forced for a pittance to sell their "carbon rights" and forego industrial development forever. That's NSM200, of Nixon, Kissinger et al.
Of course we could have development of safe nuclear power, but the Greenie zombies generally (like Al Gore) prohibit that as well. On top of that, think about Cheney's GWOT, and what that means for trade and development. See how it all adds up?
