Real Crash - by Howard

We can avoid nuclear war by putting the financial system into bankruptcy reorganization.Need Glass-Steagall Act, water projects, space program. Need a change to production, the real American System.

Frank Sinatra, Markets Under my Skin

Frank Sinatra, Under my Skin
Frank Sinatra, Under my Skin

The markets are screwed, you're losing your skin.
The cheap money doesn't really mean a thing to me.
How you sacrificed everything just to make some commodities yours I fear;;

In spite of a warning voice, this is just another bubble coming near;;

But the temptation of 100 dollar a barrel oil;;
Makes me stop, before I begin;;
Somehow, I keep losing my skin;;

The real estate market is screwed, except for foreclosures;;
The mortgages are less and less to be paid much more;;

Use your mentality;;
Wake up to reality;;
The markets are in a tail spin;
And you're losing your skin;;

With the mad lose money policy of the European Central Bank and the US Federal Reserve, hThe hyperinflationary bail-out of the collapsing world financial system, being directed by the Bank of England, the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, and other banker-run institutions, is producing, as Lyndon LaRouche forecast, a "shock-front" explosion in commodity prices. The UBS/Bloomberg CMCI Index of the prices of 26 commodities, soared to 1,271.7 on Oct. 31, its highest level ever. This commodity index rose by 3.9% during the month of October, following a 7.8% increase during September. Of course the price of oil is rushing toward $100 a barrel, and gold hit $800 an ounce.

Happy All Souls day and collapse, unless you get FDR policies, and the US Congress to move on the Home and Bank Protection Act. Oh, and WW3 won't help, leave Iran alone.

My husband is a long hauler so I get to hear about the financial woes of the trucking industry. He said today that when gas goes to $5.00 a gallon (diesel, that is) a lot of the smaller companies will go under. His boss is feeling the crunch already. Imagine what your local stores will look like with fewer trucks on the road, Howard. The big companies will corner the market, raise their prices to cover the extra fuel expense and the smaller companies will be gone. I heard someplace that it would take 3 days for the markets to be emptied if the trucks stopped running. The cost of food and other necessities could go sky-rocketing out of reach very quickly. Not to mention the problems with people getting to work when they can't afford the gas. It could get very interesting very soon. And pretty dicey as well. Keep up the warnings! People are starting to listen.

Great. And in New York City they have destroyed all the freight railroads, except for a little one to the Bronx. That means EVERYTHING is trucked into New York City over the bridges and tunnels from New Jersey and the Bronx. And then the greenies (and Bloomberg) want "congestion pricing" just for the privilege of driving to Manhattan below 86th St.
