Real Crash - by Howard

Hedge funds are gambling, while production is crashing. The real estate bubble is over, and going down. New York City is beautiful, that's why I take pictures of it, but it's the belly of the beast.

Fight the Economic Collapse or Terrorism?

August 30th 2007 21:53
Can we maintain the "War on Terror" and war in Iraq as a lone ranger, Dick Cheney policy? Has it given the United States any benefits, or any disadvantages? Do we need some more international cooperation? How has this changed after the eruption of the sub-prime mortgage crisis. Can we revive the U.S., Russia, China alliance policy

Hey, if we are going to reorganize the world monetary system we need friends, like Russia, China and India. Europe is waiting for our leadership. We have to understand the needs and aspirations of half the world's population. Russia, and China and India also suffer continously from terrorism, (some of it run from London).

The oligarchy ultimately runs and instigates terrorism. Try to think about it, it's the old British "divide and conquer" thing.

Anyway, we need a united policy with these countries against the financial collapse and to reorganize the physical economy. And in that context we can also defeat terrorism. See LaRouche's piece on the Eurasian-Landbridge policy.

Going into a Cheney led lone ranger trip will destroy any alliances with the USA and bring on mass murder and a new dark age. Like the old gospel preacher said "Keep your eye on the prize and hold on!"

I'm surprised at you, Howard. Not once did you use that tired word..."Unilateral." What part of "The Coalition of the Willing" don't you understand? We didn't go to war alone. We have allies who are as committed to fighting terrorism as we are. Yes, other countries have been victimized by terrorists. Even Russia... They don't seem to be very willing to wage the necessary war to stop it. Instead, they're selling parts and technology to anyone who wants it (even terrorist states.) And you expect us to form an alliance with them and China? Get real! Someone once said "Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer." Does that mean we have to trust the same folks who are sending us poisoned goods (China) or those who are starting to make veiled threats (Russia)? I don't think so. Spain turned tail and ran away at a few threats and look what happened! The terrorists hit them. You can't seriously believe that if we walk away and let them have their way, they'll be nice, can you?

We are showing the best leadership possible. We aren't backing down in the face of terror. We, and our allies, are standing up to them, fighting them on their own turf. They're losing and they know it.

Howard, my friend, you really need to get off the "Hate Cheney" bandwagon. It isn't going anywhere. George W. Bush is the President and he's leading us along the right road. The road that leads to victory and safety. Backing down and chumming up with doubtful allies isn't the way to win this war. If we don't meet them head-on, on our terms, they'll hit us again... and again... and again until we finally quit and they rule the whole frigging world.

How important will a good economy really be if we lose another few thousand citizens to terrorists? Get your priorities straight, Howard.

I don't think Poland and Czechia alone will help us form a new FDR style monetary system.

I'm not convinced that we need a "new FDR style monetary system", Howard. And the last time I looked, there were more than 2 other countries on the planet. In case you hadn't noticed, our friends outnumber our enemies.

SL, you and your cothinkers better get straight. They printed about $300 billion at the Fed, and another Euro 300 billion, at the ECB just to keep the collapse from hitting last week. Enough on this.
