Real Crash - by Howard

We can avoid nuclear war by putting the financial system into bankruptcy reorganization.Need Glass-Steagall Act, water projects, space program. Need a change to production, the real American System.

Cyprus and the Gold Bars in the Wall

Real Crash- Looking at the Financial System and the War Drive:
Now with the Cyprus banks subject to confiscation, it may be the time to buy gold bars. After all, now the German finance minister Schaeuble says if the Euro system deal is not accepted by Cyprus-- with the 5-10% bank deposit confiscation- the banks may never open.

Since the same thing can happen in the US, Germany, UK, France, Aus, NZ, etc, what are you to do if you have between $20,000 and $100,000 in the bank? Well, you could pass Glass Steagall in your country and get real FDIC style protection for your deposit. Then, get a real credit system to issue credit for infrastructure and new jobs.

Alternatively, you could buy gold, but where to put it? One suggestion from Guatemala is to drill a hole in your wall and put it there, afterwards plastering it over. Since gold is about $1,700 an ounce, then less than 60 ounces (4 lbs) of gold would be worth about $100,000. They complained in Guatemala that they had a problem when the big earthquake hit in the 1970s. The walls came down and the gold caches were exposed. Oh well, nothing is perfect. Time to go to LaRouche and get a better solution.
