Look, Realcrash.com and larouchepac.com have been right about the collapse. Rupert Murdoch, Rush Limbaugh, Ms. Anne Colter, Treas. Sec. Hank Paulson have been wrong. Your friends have been wrong. Wannabe President Michael Bloomberg and the London crowd openly are promoting city-states.
This is pre-British Empire stuff, like going back to the speculation dominated city-states of Venice (Italy) or the Hanseatic League (Northern Germany, Holland) and their Northmen, Viking marauding hordes running the world. It means a new dark age in which billions of people and their descendants would be obliterated. Keep bailing out Bear Stearns and Co. and that is where you are going.
Going along with this monetarist evil means dumping the US nation-state by abandoning the areas of the nation "not making money" and run services and infrastructure only for New York, Chicago, Miami, L.A. and a few more pockets of gambling and finance, and prostitution, etc. Your friend's Cult of Selfishness (pagan and satanic it is) will move from trashing poor and unfortunate people to abandoning whole areas of the USA. Whole areas of the USA will be destroyed, and are being destroyed under this policy.
Stop being a doormat for Felix Rohatyn, Michael Bloomberg, George Pratt Schultz and the British Oligarchy. You cannot call yourself a Christian in the tradition of St. Augustine or Pope John Paul II, or a Jew in the tradition of Moses, Moses Mendelsohn, or even David Ben-Gurion, if you go along with this global financial dictatorship crap.
Look yourself in the mirror. Do you worship selfishness, greed, lust and pride? Do you despise any idea of cooperation for the general welfare of the nation? Then you will help destroy the United States.
